Junior Web Developer

iNode Technologies Inc. – Ottawa, ON

$14 – $16 an hour – Full-time, Contract, Internship – Remote (temporarily available, COVID-19)

We are currently hiring for a new junior web developer with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our team for an exciting project that we are launching at the moment. We are looking for a developer who is enthusiastic, easy to work with, a good communicator, and takes pride in their work. Your opinion and value will be taken into great consideration.

Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining websites by WordPress

Following instructions by the project manager to create appealing themes and layout for the best user experience.

Communicate with marketing partners to coordinate other IT-related implementation, testing and resolve issues

Design, write, modify and test front-end code

Work collaboratively with team

Qualifications

1-year experience in web development or equivalent educational experience in Computer Science or relevant areas.

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL

Experienced in using WordPress is preferred

Comfortable working remotely and independently in a fast-paced team environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention in details

Asset

Strong knowledge in Angular or React

Mandarin
